This is an excellent opportunity for the aerospace and defense industry, government officials, and other stakeholders to learn more about trends, challenges, and opportunities with respect to ethical business conduct. It also provides an opportunity to help shape the dialogue on ethics in our industry.
The conference will feature a wide variety of speakers from many of AIA’s member companies and other key players in the aerospace and defense industry. Some specific topics that will be discussed are the prevention of corruption, the human trafficking situation in the defense trade, and the mitigation of risks associated with corruption. By featuring a vast array of speakers with diverse experience and leadership, the conference will be offering essential discourse on issues that pertain specifically to aerospace and defense. The keynote speaker for this conference is Peter MacKay, former Canadian Minister of Justice and Attorney General, who will be speaking at the conference dinner at the Canadian Embassy in the evening on October 25th.
